About The Designer

Toronto wedding dress and evening wear designer, Taline Assadourian has always had a passion for art and the creation of beautiful pieces. At the young age of 8, she had already begun illustrating and designing women's clothing, hoping to one day own her own label.

Taline was born in Canada and educated in both the United States and Canada. She spent most of her formative years in Ontario, later moving to Tennessee and then to Wisconsin with her family. Taline's interest in fashion eventually led her to Ryerson University in Toronto to pursue a degree in Fashion Design.

For the next 10 years, she strived to hone her skills in all aspects of the fashion industry; technical design, runway productions, sales, fit, and manufacturing of plus size garments. Taline went on to work with several prestigious Canadian designers, including legendary fashion icons WayneClark and Pat McDonagh.

In 2011, Taline travelled to Paris to perfect her techniques in couture design and returned with a renewed desire to start her own business. Her brand, TALINE, specializes in producing elegant evening and bridal wear for women, including plus size wedding dresses for curvy brides. She also creates customizable made-to-order gowns and custom special occasion dresses.

Inspired by the classic style and quality of European fashions,TALINE is dedicated to providing women with a fresh, new look and making them feel as beautiful as the garments they are wearing.
